Streamlining Business Operations with Stackdrop and Retool
Sep 17, 2025

At Stackdrop, we’ve built our reputation on solving real business challenges, without getting bogged down by legacy systems or lengthy development cycles. Working with clients across industries such as healthcare, retail, finance, e-commerce, logistics, education, motorsports, entertainment, and manufacturing, we see firsthand how outdated, fragmented systems and manual processes slow operations, stifle innovation, cause errors, and drive up costs.
Traditionally, tackling these problems meant writing custom code from scratch, A slow process that involves setting up complex platform configurations, application environments, and deployment pipelines. This approach often ends up reinventing the wheel and adding new layers of complexity.
Why Low-Code? Why Retool?
Our approach at Stackdrop isn’t about shortcuts; it’s about strategically and purposefully modernizing operations for today's landscape. Low-code empowers us to iterate quickly, integrate incompatible systems seamlessly, and unlock a range of impactful benefits.
Retool, in particular, allows us to bypass the lengthy traditional setup processes, enabling us to deliver tailored solutions faster and with fewer maintenance headaches. This allows us to focus on real business challenges, delivering flexible solutions that evolve with our clients.
Real-world impact; Stackdrop in action
Our work with Retool has redefined operations across various industries. Here are two case studies that capture our approach:
A global accelerator in the luxury goods sector was struggling to keep up with overwhelming customer support demands. Hundreds of agents were forced to juggle numerous tools, manually retrieving data from separate external platforms, databases, and spreadsheets.
An international network of clinics was grappling with fragmented systems across its locations in 5 countries. Separate tools for scheduling, billing, and patient management led to disjointed operations, financial and logistical errors, and inconsistent patient experiences.
Following a discovery phase with all stakeholders involved we started mapping out workflows, databases, external platforms, and APIs. Here are some of the technologies at play:
Global accelerator: 20 + separate databases spread across 4 different types, FTP / File systems, Parcel tracking APIs, Warehouse inventory logistics API, Zendesk, and more.
Clinic network: 3 different patient CRM software, Offline treatment Excel files, different invoicing systems across countries, Consent and signature partially offline or separate file storage, and more
From SMEs to Enterprises the playbook, in these use-cases, is relatively straightforward. We're able to very quickly jump into creating the back-end, front-end, and automation layer, what we call a "stack", that consolidates intuitively all fragmented data and functionality.
Our Customer Support enablement application was ingesting 20.000+ tickets while providing one global interface for agents to retrieve all necessary information about customers and orders in roughly two months. We later extended the system and introduced AI classification, tagging, and automatic responses with 80% accuracy after the first few iterations.
Our Healthcare Operations platform consolidated fragmented clinic platforms and processes into one interface, streamlining appointment scheduling, patient data management, inventory tracking, and billing workflows. Within a couple of months, the system was efficiently handling real-time patient records across multiple locations.
The Future of Low-Code in Business Operations
Low-code platforms like Retool are transforming the way businesses operate right now. With the industry moving toward deeper AI integration and advanced automation, these tools will be vital for allowing innovation to happen without quicker and without the traditional technical burden.
We firmly believe that now is the time for rapid retooling. Rather than enduring slow, resource-intensive development cycles, we have the chance to act as strategic architects, integrating fragmented systems and jumping straight into building tailored solutions without reinventing the wheel.
